American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting 2025

We were honored to take part in this year’s American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting, one of the largest gatherings of public health professionals in the country.

Six members of the IVPRC team pose during a session at APHA 2025.

Our team joined a roundtable on Extreme Heat Exposure, where we shared insights from our “Taking on the Heat” project, discussed community needs in Imperial County, and highlighted key findings and challenges related to heat.

IVPRC team members and conference attendees seated around a table in active discussion during an APHA 2025 breakout session.

It was an incredible opportunity to share our work with a national audience and connect with others dedicated to advancing public health and climate resilience.

Four SDSU IVPRC team members pose next to a large APHA 2025 Annual Meeting & Expo sign inside the conference venue.
